Who I am: Just a 20-something life lover trying to make her way in this crazy world called life. Currently, I am in the process of getting my master’s degree in social work.
Why I’m here: Believe it or not, this actually isn’t my first blog. I first started blogging in January of 2012. Through my first blog, I gained thousands of followers and wrote one post every day for a year, but more than that, I connected with other people. I cultivated friendships I still have today, and truthfully, that is why I am here now. I have missed being connected to a caring, loving and supportive group of people. The support I first received from the blogging community was truly incredible, and I want it back. Actually, I need it back. You all are amazing! I’m sorry for ever leaving, but happy day, I’m back now!
What you may not know: I have Cerebral Palsy (a neuromuscular disability that affects my muscles and balance). Reaching a point of self acceptance continues to be a battle for me, but it’s definitely something I’m working towards. Additionally, I am in the process of writing my memoir of living with CP, which I hope to have completed (and eventually published) in late 2016.
Questions/Comments/Want to chat?: Feel free to comment. I absolutely love connecting with others and sharing life stories.
